Things we liked about the Tour V2:

The Bushnell Tour V2 is compact, very easy to use with the Pinseeker mode which works perfectly.

What is the Pinseeker? Bushnell advanced pinseeker is a function where you can easily lock into your target with incredible accuracy. Simply press and hold down the power button, when the circle surround the Pinseeker indicator, you have confirmed that the multiple object have been acquired, but only the distance to the flag is displayed. Once you have lock into the flag, you do not have to guess whether you will hit the tree or any object near to the flag.

What’s  great with this pinseeker technology feature is that you can use this to see how far you are hitting your clubs. Simply stand next to your ball and aim back to the tee and you know who far your drive was.

Another great feature of the Bushnell Tour V2 rangefinder is the 5x magnification. Anywhere within 130 yds, magnification actually helped me to get a good overview of the green slope, whether to approach right of the flag or short of the flag and etc. It helped me to make a better choice on my clubs and shots, which I think was an important reason for playing well today

If you are one of those people who do not play on the same course over and over again, then with the help of the Bushnell Tour V2 rangefinder, you can record the course yardage in a notepad. With the Bushnell Tour V2 slope edition and your handy yardage notepad, you can easily record the distances to hazards or landing areas of different golf courses.

A quick look with the Bushnell Tour V2 Rangefinder, gives me an accurate and instant reading. Most of the time when I checked my yardage notepad with the Bushnell Rangefinder, 95% of the time the figures agree perfectly.

When playind a course for the first time without my handy yardage notepad, I would estimate I save a good 10 strokes a round with the Bushnell Rangefinder compared to going in blindly and guessing the yardages. The Bushnell Tour V2 slope edition is invaluable when comes to dealing with high elevated greens or tees.

The slope edition comes with a feature to measure +/- one degree of angle and compensated range, based upon ball trajectory and type of club used. All shown on an LCD display.  However USGA does not allow the slope edition, so if you’re in a tournament, make sure you have a non-slope edition.

Things we did not like:
Battery life is a concern for the Tour V2. I only used it for thirteen weeks, three times a week and it was completely flat. Rechargeable batteries are not suitable , so keeping  spare batteries in your bag is a good idea.

To be honest, the Bushnell Tour V2 Golf Rangefinder although it is compact and small, you need a steady hand to lock in on a flag. However I overcame this by using it more often on the course so that I get used to the size and weight of the unit.

Is it worth the money?
Yes, no more guess work, this is a golfer tool to accurately pin point the target.
